I am so incredibly moved by this story. I was shocked (at first) that friendship could be the result of this story, but...well, I guess that I’ll now have to buy the book to figure it all out. Wow. I’m crying still. What a moving story.

It just also goes to show how some “eyewitnesses” aren’t always right. In fact, in my opinion they are probably the worst types of evidence, although we put much emphasis on it during trials. I am also shocked about the friendship that stemmed from this. To lose your life behind bars and then become friends with the person who put you there? I know about forgiveness but friendship is something entirely different.
