Are you thinking about majoring in history? Want to know more about the department? Want a chance to meet some of the history faculty?

If so, please join us for a dinner with Dr. Elizabeth Lunbeck, chair of the history department. Over a delicious meal catered from Maggiano’s, you will have a unique opportunity to ask questions and hear discussion on a popular discourse at Vanderbilt. If you’re thinking about studying history or have no idea what you want to study, this is a “must attend” event.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to April Aldeen (april.j.aldeen@vanderbilt.com) as soon as possible.

Then, at 8pm, things will change gears as we move the conversation from history to the Pursuit of Meaning at age 18 (PM@18). Space is unlimited and desserts will abound as Dr. Lunbeck offers her own story of life at age 18 and how she got to where she is today.

Both events are not to be missed.. RSVP for the dinner (spaces are limited) and then stick around for the dessert discussion (all welcome and then some)!

Look forward to seeing you there!

I apologize everyone, in my haste to describe the substance of the program I forgot to establish the main logistical points.

The dinner and dessert reception will be Tuesday, November 10th, w/ dinner starting at 7pm and dessert to start at 8pm.
